The link between autism and the Eagles?
Mirror neurons allow us to "feel" emotions in others. When we're watching football, we are able to "feel" the players' and fans' emotions due to a set of neurons in our brain known as the "mirror neurons". Researchers suggest that the mirror neuron system of children with autism may not function properly, leading to a difficulty in reading basic "social cues".
